Hi there, I installed on top of the original drivers (manufactured by HP 8.882.2.3000 sp55092.exe) amd drivers 12.3 through driver genius. After that, windows update showed optional update to "update" to previous version by HP.
But now, when I try to launch Sims 3, just before entering the sims "life", game crashes. And I tried with both, fixed and dynamic switching modes. And interesting fact is that after update resolution sets to the lowest (not widescreen, with thick black edges on the sides of the screen).
And one more thing, when I want to update drivers, do I need to install them using dynamic or fixed mode? Thank you guys! :)

    Model:
    HP-dv6b18sg
    i7 2670qm
    amd radeon 2gb
    ram 6gb
    hdd 750 gb 5400rpm

    EDIT:

Jeez, it doesn't even work, when I update to original drivers through Windows Update. Crashes as well.
But when I try to run my mentioned "sp55092.exe" downloaded from HP (dynamic mode enabled through BIOS), during installation I get message "Application Install: install package failure!", when I press OK, after a few moments display flickers three times and then the result Failures occurred during installation. After I press View Log, I get this (screen shot below).

you need to uninstall all GPU drivers from Control Panel, boot in safe mode and run DriverSweeper to completely clean all the remaining pieces. then boot back into Windows at which time you should be greeted with a 800x600 VGA resolution. if that happens, your system is clean. then go ahead and install HP drivers and remember not to pay attention to Windows Update notifications for GPU drivers at all.

Ok guys, thanks for suggestions :) Anyway, I just reinstalled win 7, as I heard that if I would still have used manufacturer (HP) preinstalled OS, I would not have performance as fresh Win 7 installation, I mean, without crappy/bloatware software preinstalled by HP.
Btw, leshcat drivers 12.3 is already out, testing atm :)
