Hi
What are the specifications of the DDR3 memory in HP dv6t? Website doesnt mention the details.
- Is it 1066 MHz or 1333 MHz?
- Is it dual channel?
Regards

its DDR3-1333 ram and its dual channeled if its 2GB , 4GB or 8GB...

Honestly, it makes zero difference in any real life situation.

What is wrong with you? He tried to help unlike you.
He got 1190 post, and you got 1 post.
If anything I'd question you before I question him. -
Memory size makes no difference in your GPU typically past double the bus width size (ie. 256MB is enough for your 128-bit GDDR3 card). You would get no performance benefit with 1GB+ on your GPU. It's all marketing crap. HP should be using DDR3-1333 for their i7 notebooks and DDR3-1066 for their C2D ones.

the document that can be retrieved at the following address http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01860375.pdf reports it's 1066 (page 8). Where did you get your info?

from what ppl said.... and also all new core i7 notebook uses DDR3-1333 MHz modules so if hp is being stingy , its not my fault...
-
If you buy online a new Dell Studio 15 with the new i7 core you can choose between 1066 and 1333 memory, and it's clearly described. I find quite annoying that's so difficult to discover what memory is used in the HP while buying: when I buy something I want to know all the tech specs. And in any case if it was 1333 be sure it would't be so difficult to find out...
-
Not really. Vendors (e.g. Dell) are providing an option between 1066 or 1333. That's why I asked this question for owners. Why is this so dang hard to find out?

LOL i'm not some double agent.. i'm just a kid who still in college... anyways i hate hp for giving me such a crap laptop and ripping me off so i would nver help them... BTW the difference in ram speed doesn't matter much really so why are u crying so much ... if u're so desperate , check CPU-Z when u get the notebook and see what speed ur ram is running on... and stop trolling...
