    HP dv6t Select Edition clean install issues

    I just performed a clean reinstall on my hp dv6tse. However, the on screen display for volume, brightness, and mute etc no longer appear. The light on the touchpad also no longer works. Does anyone know which software or driver to install to re enable these features?

    I believe the OSD functions will return if you install "MediaSmart SmartMenu" from the HP site.

    I also can't turn off and on the touch pad. I have download the latest touch pad driver and no luck. The option to activate the touch pad on and off function is grayed out.
