I've found something wich Hp dv7 owner gonna like!
After some test's and try, i discovery the our ati hd4650 can be a beast!
everybory who try, know this GPU is quite limited, is a DDR3 with 667 memory and dont go too far with overclock(max i found is 645/730 with no artefacts), but what i found?
I discovered one VGA bios from ACER of this GPU its compatible with our motherboard! so? i extracted the FD bios file this Acer vga bios with a tool calle'd Phoenix mod tool and change from original hp7 bios file (*.FD file)
Result? Now i have mine gpu up to 800mhz (really ddr3) STABLE!!!!!
the temps its not too higher.
mine 3dmark06 up from ~6000 to 7300+++++
and temps dont go too far after 1 night (6hours) running my gpu temps never pass from 79Âșc :| lol
i think that info is a big achievment for ati mobility hd4650, we can give'em new life!

im now testing the limite for VGA acer bios, im on 670@870 stable with 7800score on 3dmark06
670@870 from 550@667 its a HUGEEEE achievment!
