I'm having trouble with regular skipping when playing Blu-Ray discs...they are skipping and stalling like when you watch a video on the internet that isn't buffering quickly.

I just bought my laptop a month ago, I have not traveled with it and I live in a smoke-free home. I played a few blu-rays problem free in the past but have not used the drive for more than 5-10 hours tops. I encountered the problem while playing a movie on my HDTV, but I tried to watch it on my laptop and still had the problem so it's not a cord/port issue.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions?

This is very frustrating as the Blu-Ray drive was one of the most appealing parts of the laptop in the first place.

Never mind, I think it was just the disc itself (Netflix, go figure). I tried one of my others and it appeared that it was skipping, too- which is why I thought it was the drive- but it just hitches a bit when you first skip to a scene, then it looks great.
