I've had this laptop a few days now and I'm very dissatisfied with it. Every single time I try to run any 3D application; games or 3D mark, the system crashes. Initally the graphics are displayed properly but after about 2-3 seconds the sound starts looping and the system bluescreens to show an error in nv4_disp.dll. Additionally, often when I am surfing the net the screen starts turning on and off randomly and I get artifacts in the text.
I have tried every version of the drivers in existance, even leaked ones off Guru3D. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in safemode and verified the correct versions and no matter what I do this keeps happening. I am wondering if anyone else is having problems with this laptop or similiar ones with the GeForce Go series of drivers. It is my belief that the graphics chip in this thing is toast and that getting a replacement laptop from where i purchased it would fix it. I am weary though to try the same brand and model # if this is a common occurance. Please advise.

You should contact HP customer support and ask them to get the problems resolved, or to send you a replacement.
HP also has a 21-day return policy, where you can get a full refund. -
Yeah I've been on the phone and using the livechat feature with HP for over 5 hours now total in the 3 days I've owned this. None of them have been helpful and none have suggested a refund. I think I'll just bring the back to CompUSA and opt for a Toshiba or something. I don't think I trust HP now
