Hello everybody, im new here, and im needing help xD
I have a hp pav dv9930us, i had the chipset failure almost a year ago and had the reballing done and all that, the problem now is that i disassembled the notebook to clean it and also to see if there was something messing with the wireless card because for some reason from time to time when booted, the note wouldnt find any wireless signal, had to restart it like 5 times for it to work properly. This only happens when booting the note, once started if the wireless works it keeps working normally....but still dont knot whats going on...
Back to the main problem xD after the reassemble i started the note but as soon as the screen lit, a white horizontal line appeared and the screen was doubled! The line is in the middle of the two screens, you can see the normal hp logo on both, the starting sequence, and the desktop, but you cant see the task bar on the lower one.
A friend of mine told me that this could be a display problem, a broken flex, but im not sure. She told me that the screen should blink when moving the cable, or by moving the lid, but mine just stays the same. She told me to connect it to a tv or another display, so i tried using a HDMI cable and a tv, BUT...then i found out that for some reason the display driver is disabled by windows...
Can somebody tell me if this is a flex problem, or the chipset or whatever, or how to find out whats causing the problem?
Another weird thing, Seven loads normally but XP crashes after the welcome screen, it loads a green screen with many blocks and there it freezes.... =/
Here you can see the O.S. selection screen and the Seven desktop
