Does anyone know if there is a BIOS upgrade for the HP dv9000 series (dv9010us) AMD Turion 64(X2) CPU? I have read in other posts here that say there is, but it may only be for the Intel Based processors laptops. Any ideas?

My dv9208nr Turion has 4GB RAM and 64-bit Vista. You should flash in the current BIOS if yours doesn't run the fan 24x7, due to the defective NVIDIA chip problem, but that's about it. I vaguely recall that Intel notebooks of that vintage required a BIOS update for 4GB RAM support but AMD notebooks were good to go.
