    Hi,

I have a question about the dv9630ed. Is it possible to insert a second HDD?
And if possible, should I insert a 5400 or 7200 rpm HDD.

    Regards,

    KingB33

Since you have the dv9500 series notebook it should be capable of using dual hard drives. As for as rpm is concerned 7200rpm would be better but if you are just going to use the second hard drive as storage then a cheaper 5400rpm HDD would do fine.

If you didn't have a second HDD inside of it when you bought it, you will have to purchase the HDD cradle and Sata adapter from HP to insert and connect the second HDD to your laptop.
