The 9000's all have dual HDD bays.

Just like many other of the series line refreshes, it will likely sport a new Imprint Finish and not much else.

I just bought the dv9843cl at Costco about a week ago and I love it.

So far I have only used it for web surfing and playing EQ2; I have not had a chance to play any Blu-ray discs yet.

The 64 bit Vista seems to work well, I have not had any compatability problems with software. The Aero interface seems to run well, I don't know how much it is lugging down the system performance.

I will try to provide more feedback as I play with the laptop more.

Quick update on dv9843cl from Costco:
The version of Vista that is installed on the laptop is the 64 bit version on Vista home; the 64 bit version of Vista is not supported by any VPN software that I can find, so i can't use this for work.

I am returning the laptop to Costco and building one on their website with the 32 bit version of Vista.

I was able to play a Blu-ray disk over HDMI to a 24"
Dell 2408 monitor at 1080P, but I don't know if the audio was coming across (no speakers on the monitor).

So far I really like the laptop, but don't like Microsoft trying to shove an unsupported OS down buyers throats.

Thanks for the update on the laptop, but how did MS have anything to do with HP pre-loading Vista on your laptop? Just curious.
