Sorry if i sound ignorant, but i so rarely deal with AMD CPU's and HP computers.

But i have the titled computer and i'm going to use it as a travel computer. its pretty crappy when it comes to gaming due to its intergrated GPU that can only get 128mb of system dedicated RAM.

But i really like the computer, and i play RTS games which are a bit more dependant on the CPU than average, and i was wondering what possible CPU upgrades there were for this machine.

    Thanks all

Upgrading from the TL-60 your Pavilion dv9812us has wouldn't be worth it. It's a pretty decent CPU. You're already set for RAM too. The only thing that would help is a better GPU and you're stuck there. Sorry.

So the TL-68 wouldnt be a very good option... 400mHz is noticable but not so much really i guess.

Yeah it really sucks because i really like that laptop. I just like the "feel" of it and its very comfortable. The GPU just blows unfortunatly. I bought it for media and light gaming, but i was so used to desktop equipment i figured the 7150 was an actual video card (low end) and not an intergrated solution.

I was able to get it to 128mb dedicated with the BIOS, but even then it cant play neverwinter nights 1 very well (which isnt a very hard core game) and can barely play Dawn of War when too much is happening.

    Thanks for the reply though
