    Hello all,

Allot of people are asking, wondering about the impressions owners may have on the new HDMI output port of the dv9xxxx series machines using the 7600 Nivida go gpu.

dx9000t goes by MANY names, but they all use an Intel cpu, with the choice of a 256, or 512mb 7600 series gpu (gpu=video card)

Please post your results, impressions, and if you run any benchmarks here... as allot of people are asking about this machine. Some wanting to use it as a home media center.

From the research I've done the HP comes on pre-confiqured models with a 1440x900 screen (uck), and on CTO models (Custom to Order) a 1680x1050 screen. (Very nice, I had one on a dv8000t)

From the research I've done supposedly the HDMI output outs @1080 (HDTV), the internal screen maxing out at 720p

it should output 1080i or 1080p just fine.

... I use a GMA 900 in my media center at this moment (I've tried 1080i MPEG2 and 720p H264), and it works fine over DVI... at 1920x1080p on my HDTV

    1440x900 or 1680x1050 are both more than 720p (1280x720)
