    hy i have an hp elitebook 2540p(i7 procesor 2.13Mh,4gb ram,160hdd etc)...sometimes when i shut down or try to start windows display don`t work(remain black).if i connect to an external monitor it work.someone have a suggestion?

    If your issue is "sometimes"... then you likely have a faulty connection or cable between the notebook base and lid. Look for like unit issues in the Elitebook 2540p Owners Lounge... here. You can also view/download the service manual... here.
