    Hello all!

    Just got my first notebook.

I'm using acronis true image 9.7.something (most recent version) bootable media to make an image at various stages as I install the OS, drivers, applications, etc.

The cd boots properly, but when I select the full version of the product, it locks up at the loading screen. In the past, I've discovered that by disabling certain functions in the bios such as usb, the functionality is restored. This is indeed the case here. However, I need usb to work because my backup media is an external usb drive.

Any suggestions on how to make this work?

    Thanks!
