I know the PC industry is dying, but I didn't expect it to be on the death row so much. The HP email support web form is down for a quite a few business days. No one cares about it? I had to ask it somewhere.

    Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/shopping.html
The select email. It's totally dead.

Here I may conclude that either:
    1. No one buys HP notebooks anymore
    2. Anyone still buys them, don't ask questions

Why don't you try the chat or phone options?

Chat: I don't have time to waste.

Phone: I don't have time for that either and it doesn't leave a written trail I can later use against them (evil wink). No, really, I like to have a written document of the communication.

Anyways, the point is, I am not so desperate to having to contact them today or even next week (some time in the near future would be nice), I just wanted to point out that come on guys, if this is how such important things are run at one of the remaining (still one of the largest) PC vendors, then this company/industry is in trouble.

And yeah, it may sound silly but really it is the point: I assume many people interact with one of the remaining big PC vendors but
    - either I was wrong and it's not the case
    - or they simply don't ask questions / or don't care (if they can't email)
But come on! One of the 6 or so still operating large PC vendors - is it just me or is it truly that insane?

That link you went to goes to contact HP Shopping. Do you wanna ask a shopping-related question or do you need technical support? If you go to support.hp.com and select the model of whatever you have ( http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ ), then there's a form to fill out where you provide your contact info and describe your problem and they will reply to your e-mail.

    3. We pick up a phone or know how to fix our issues.

If you have a problem, make the time to fix it. Coming here to discuss a down support form is wasting just as much time.

Good question! I'm in another timezone, abroad, don't have time to chat, thought email is the best to avoid miscommunication.

Anyways, quick pre-sales question: What is HPs offering as a competitor to to

the Dell Latitude 11 Education: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/latitude-3150-laptop/pd

and the Lenovo ThinkPad 11e [Education]: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/11e-series/11e-windows/

PC, not Chromebook. Maybe you know it?

    Hey SoMeAm,

I asked a very simple question here. Instead of nonsense, you could as well simply answer it as well, right?

    Thanks!
