Tell me what im dong wrong guys :)

    GPU is on
    Monitor is on

minidisplay port - smaller version of dvi (cant remember the name) is hooked up. (I had to get an adapter because the original plug it came with wasnt supported on the envy)

pressed F4, duplicate. Nothing changed at all.

Went to power saving mode. F4 duplicate. The screen blinked and nothing still happened on my monitor. (it didnt blink in high power mode)

I have a calypso monitor 24". Using it for college. Any ideas? BTW it is plugged in correctly, there is a flashing orange light and it says no signal then goes blank.

I've noticed some people have issues with the minidisplay port and some monitors.

but it's been hit or miss. Never used it before so I can't really help much beyond that.

you are using the radeon though, right?

    I have no idea.

hdmi will work. maybe an active minidisplayport cable might work (apparently there are two types of those cables)
