I don't have time to read through the 3 really long owners threads but do people have any specific q's about the SB version of envy 14?

I've seen some people struggle with some issues with overheating and throttling. Is this a general problem that happens early on or later?

Has anyone run the machine with ext monitor and lid closed? Does it get hot?

Considering the Envy's in those threads are all pre-SNB models, we'll wait for your contribution on the new model. :)

the SB envy just got released, so noone can tell how they will fare 6 months down the road.

As for the older envy suddenly overheating, it often seems to be vent / fan clogging that could have been easily avoided with a little maintenance (just like any other laptops and desktops)
