I had my HP/COMPAQ NX9420 for 1 and a half months and i sent my HP Back Once for a Touchpad replacement. Then all of a sudden more problems occur. DVD-RW Drive not ejecting. Keyboard not inputing properly one USB Port is a little skimppy. Then i called Tech support 2 weeks back to send back to Hp repair center for service. They didnt send me the box. So i tryed the second time to ask them to send me the Dvd RW Drive they didnt send that either. So i tried the third time for a box and still no shippment for the Box to send back to HP. I Tried 4 times allready on this with the Phone tech and they didnt email me when they will ship the box nothing. Its like they are not giving a crap about my warranty. i have 10 more months of warranty and they wont even fix it. What should i do? if this cant be resolved then they can say good bye to a coustomer due to their service.

Did you confirm your address they have on file?

After that many times of not getting a box, it has to be some sort of shipping error. They could possibly be sending it the wrong address.

Not saying it is that, but it could be.

If you can return your system, definitely do it while you still can!

I still wish I had been able to get to the store where I had gotten this one from before my return window was up.

If you don't want to ship it around, go to a local authorized service provider and ask them to fix it. HP should send parts to them and they will fix your problems within a few days if the parts are not in back order. I could try to help a bit more if you could tell where you are. (Canada, USA, etc)

Ya, take to authorized service center.
Off topic question here sorry, but how do you know what brand of LCD your notebook came with? Same with dvd-rw, etc.?
