    I ordered my HP DV9500T from Costco on the 7th (still hasn't shipped). I have been checking the website every hour. Does Costco update their website in realtime or is just at midnight?

    how do you order HP from costco? you can customize it right? If costco sent the order to HP, they should just give you the tracking number so you can just check on Hp.com.

    I order my DV9500t on hp.com on the 7th (3:am), i just checked the status, it's still in production. they shipped the orders from 6th on wednesday, some people already recevied their laptop on friday. I'm still waiting....

    I think Costco updates their website. Maybe they're telling HP the orders of what to do?

    You do save a bit of money if you order from costco.

    I also bought a 9500 from Costco. I ordered mine on the night of the 6th and received an email from Costco on Thursday morning, the 14th, saying it shipped. When I checked the Fedex tracking number, it actually shipped on the 13th, so Costco was a little late in updating their info. The estimated arrival is Monday.

    Which graphics card did you select? I've heard the Nvidia cards delay the order by 2-3 days.

    You'll drive yourself nuts checking that much. You'll get an e-mail when it ships. The thing is, the laptop is coming from China. Takes 2-3 days before it leaves China, ends up in the middle of the USA, then goes to your city. If you're not home Fedex won't leave it, so you end up going to their facility at night to pick it up.

    Here, you want something to do until then? Read my web site where it talks about putting XP on your laptop. You can get a head start by making your XP boot disc, Install nLite, and slipstream the Sata drivers.
    XP on DV6500T
    Also download Killdisk, Gparted, and make your boot discs of those programs.
