Just bought a G4 series from Best Buy. To my chagrin, the notebook while equipped with the advertised 4 GB of RAM, only has a single DIMM instead of two, which means no dual channel mode. Anyone know if these machines can support two different memory timings if the speed is still the same (1333 MHz DDR3)? The DIMM inside is 5-5-5-15-16 according to CPU-Z. Though I didn't think DDR3 supported those kinds of timings......(a mistake?).
