I downloaded the sp55092 package several months ago and it's been working perfectly. I checked the site earlier to see if there was an updated package and to my surprise, the sp55092 package was gone and replaced with an older package. It says it was released around the same time but it's definitely older.

Is it just happening to me or what? I would use non OEM drivers but they seem to cause screen tearing to occur after playing certain games unless I reswitch from the intel to AMD driver. HP drivers don't give me this weird issue.

Why would HP take down the sp55092 package ?

would probably help if I add that I have the pavilion dv7t quad 6100

I am having issues with Radeon HD 6770M and the game GuildWars1.

I hope this will not also be a problem with the upcoming Guild Wars 2 release.

After installing sp55092 I see no Catalyst Control Center on my HP Pavilion dv6

then it sounds like its not a problem with guild wars 1 and a problem with your installation

you'll need to reinstall your graphics drivers, so first go download a program called Driver Sweeper then ill list what i do to reinstall graphics drivers

    1. go into the control panel and find the add/remove program utility and find the AMD uninstall manager on the list and uninstall everything AMD related

    2. right click 'my computer' go to properties, device manager, display adapters, then right click and uninstall the 6770m driver and the intel driver

    3. press the function button then f12 to turn off the wireless adapter (so windows doesnt try to install any drivers on its own. not sure if its 100% necessary but i do it anyway)

    4. restart the laptop and spam f8 while its loading and go into Safe Mode. when it boots into windows, run driver sweeper and uninstall AMD stuff

    5. restart again into normal Windows and install the drivers again. choose custom installation and make sure the AMD display driver is on the list, if its not, try running it as administrator then if that doesn't work restart the laptop again. should work the first time but sometimes it won't show the AMD display driver on the list for some reason
