Okay here is the deal: I live in Mexico and go back and forth to the states. I wanted to know, if I buy an HP dv9000 or a dv6500 in the states, if there is an international warranty so I can fix it here in Mexico becuase I dont want to be shipping it state side everytime it has a problem. I would buy the laptop here but you cant customize them here because the come already built and they suck. I need a laptop that can handle some gaming and can run several programs at once. Dell and Acer but Acer has like 2 service centers in the whole country and the one thats in Mexico City is on the extreme end of where I live and since its the second friggin largest city in the world u can guess where im getting at. As far as dell goes they have bad coverage here and it takes them like a month to get your laptop fixed (the bad side of a third world country my firends). That said HP has millions of repair centers around this city and are quick about repairing. So if someone knows it they have international warranties for HP's bought in the states please help me out and if there is someone out there that can relate to my situation please give me some advice.
