    Alright, my friend has an old compaq v2405 notebook that need a clean install of xp. I found the drivers on HP's website and the links are all dead. honestly what is the hell. its a three year old laptop. my dell laptop is a lot older and dell has all the drivers for it. is there any websites that has these drivers? i have been searching and searching

    edit: my firefox on my laptop doesnt want to download the files, but one of my schools computer will. so i will try them to see if they will work.

    hmm. i just went to one of my schools computers and it seems to be downloading fine. i guess that there is something wrong with my Firefox, maybe its missing a plug in or something? who knows. but thanks for your help.

    Check if you have PeerGuardian running... that's what prevented me from dling from HP.
