I don't know exactly, but I believe many coupons were due yesterday.
I checked the HP website after receiving an e-mail about a new discount for APP subscribers. Now, I see new discount options!
I just purchased my dv4t yesterday... I could have saved about 70 dollars..![]()
I would feel okay if it were like a one-week difference...
I know prices of electronic devices fall steeply over time, but HP dropped the prices of their new products, including dv4t, by at least 150 dollars and more in about two weeks.
Oh, if you want to purchase any of HP's new dv series or other laptop, use NB3089 as your coupon code at checkout to save an extra 5%. Of course, you can use other coupons if there are better ones.
Have a nice weekend!

HP has a 30 day price match gurantee for systems they sell through the HP shopping website. Check the website for the price difference and call in and ask for a refund of the difference. The price match doesnt work for mail in rebates or coupons but you should be able to get the difference for the instant discount and any other reduction in price for the same spec as the system you ordered.
-
Would this be the same for like cords and notebook cases and stuff also? because I bought all that with my dv7 also?
-
Can we keep calling in during the 30 days, is the price goes down even further, just calculated and I can save $60 on my dv7.
-
I just talked to HP support, and this can only be done after you have physically received the laptop, and it is for 21 days after you have the laptop physically delivered.
-
-
By the way, thank you, miner! Again!
-
Looks like they changed the policy a bit since I checked up on it...

DO you think they would honor coupons?
-
It wouldn't hurt to call and ask about the coupons, worse they could say is no. I know when I recieve my dv5t, I am calling and asking about everything.
-
I was surprised that the price changed dramatically at midnight.
-
I think the sales of the new dv series are not as good as HP expected.
I'll call tomorrow or after my dv4t arrives. -
Nah. This is just HP making a push for the back to school crowd.
-
Well the price drop is nice, I just ordered my dv5z but with the price match i shoud be able to save about 50 dollars.
-
I hope it goes down a bit more so I can get credit back.
-
Just talked to HP rep and she gave me the $60 difference. I asked her about using the NB3089 coupon and she said that that can only be applicable to new orders. I threatened to send it back and re order but she still stuck by that she can only give me the 5% off if I reordered. Still I got $60 dollars back, hopefully it will go down more before aug 22

For anyone in the UK, HP has 10% off everything from their website by using the code 'HPSIZZLER' (until 31st July). However, quite a few laptops are cheaper in Comet and Currys in their clearance sales.
-
The dv6700 special edition actual went up, glad I ordered it when I did. If the price keeps going down or a nice coupon comes out I might have to get a dv5t
-
I got a $50 credit for a dv4t. I had used a $500 coupon, and i pushed for the fact that they changed the processor and don't even offer the 2.53 ghz option which is worrysome. The graphics card is now 512 instead of 256. Now they offer a 12cell battery. I complained about all the changes. I placed my order September 15th, and received my laptop Monday, Sept 29th.

They have been pretty good about price adjustments after you receive it because the costs to them of someone sending back the laptop over 50 bucks will be a lot more than 50 bucks....
HP is dropping prices!
