This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    As the title says, HP is hosting a Windows 8 Expert Day on their official forums to answer question regarding Windows 8 including updated.
    Make sure you join the conversation and let them know how bad they are doing on supporting/providing the appropriate drivers especially for for their extremely popular Envy/Pavilion models.

    I am not sure whats the situation will be by November 28, maybe by then, they will at least release multiple drivers, especially for switchable graphics across all their flagship products released in the recent years.
    But schedule a Windows 8 upgrade discussion with the current situation following their extremely poor Windows 8 support so far, sounds way off the logical reality..
