    I've just bought one of the HP pavilion g series, and having a play around.

    Just wondering if you have to use the 'cyberlink' software with the camera? It's annoying because half the special features of the camera software are only available with an upgrade you have to purchase.

    Nope. There is lots of free webcam software out there. I like using Yawcam, but it can be confusing to some and I'm not sure what particular features you're after.
