I recently broke the LCD of my HP DM4t-1100 laptop (signature). I paid for the replacement and sent it in to the HP plant, received May 11th. The quote was originally for me to receive my unit by May 19th. However, now it has jumped to May 30th. All I am waiting for is for the LCD to be replaced on the laptop. I made it very clear on the phone call that I know exactly what is wrong and just need the LCD replaced. How accurate are the estimated delivery dates for HP? Do the laptops usually arrive well before the date, or usually on or after it? I can't really be without the laptop for such a long period due to school. Thanks.
