This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I see the HP nc8430 (RB554UT) version on www.hp.com (US website) but the Canadian HP website isn't selling it yet. This is the $1799.99 version with a Core 2 Duo 7200. Does anyone happen to know "about" how long it'll take for HP to sell this version in Canada, and the Canadian price as well (approximately)? It'll be fine as long as it's around $2000 CND (which is what the conversion is approx.). thanks in advance.
