Can anyone who has experience with the HP nw9440 comment on its fan noise?

I took a look at the Sager 5760, but from what I read it's going to be too noisy for my tastes with the 7900GTX; now I wonder how the HP nw9440 will be with an NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M (built on the GeForce 7900 GS, as I understand it), despite its lower power requirements.

Also -- maybe a bit vague -- I'd like to hear any comments on the WSXGA+ vs WUXGA displays on the nw9440. My preference is for the higher resolution WUXGA, but maybe the WSXGA+ would be fine too. Curiously HP currently only seems to offer Core 2 Duo's with the WSXGA+ resolution, and the WUXGA comes with Core Duo's.

I called up HP (in the US), but the rep seemed to know less about the machines than I did. He did say that there were no configurable options for the nw9440, and only the pre-configured systems were available; even then, some of those seemed to be available for order but not necessarily for delivery. He didn't have any info about when other options would be possible.

To make matters worse, the HP website has been almost unreachable during working hours for the last few days (the rep said something about them updating it...).
