    HP nx6110 NOT BOOTING UP

    can someone please help me. my hp nx6110 stopped booting up 2 days ago. i've tried all possible means but wont boot up. if i switch it on it goes to HP ADVENT and then go blank.

    Can you get into the BIOS setup? How about booting off a CD such as MemTest86+? (Make sure the BIOS is configured to boot the CD before the HD, or hit the boot selection function key on startup.) If those things work I'd have to suspect either a bad HD or corrupted Windows installation.

    Try this:

    -Take out battery pack and unplug AC power

    -Hold power button for 30 seconds or more

    -Only plug in AC power this time and try starting it again
