    Hi Guys!

I'm after your thoughts and suggestions.
Looking for a semi Desktop Replacement, basically a mobbile gaming machine. But doesn't have to pack a punch, just get by for playing games.

Looking at the HP nx9110 and seems pretty sweet.

Does anybody have any comments on this laptop?

Hey unless I missed something I don't think that would be best for gaming.
You would probably want to go with something more like the zd7000, zx5000, zv5000v or the equivelent compaq models R3000Z or R3000T. All of these contain a better graphics solution than the one you are looking at. So if you want to play games you may want to check these out.
If you want better battery life with a mid graphics between the one you are looking at and what these can be configured with you might also want to check out the lighter zt3000.

I'm not sure if its an option, or even what kind of discounts you can get, but All of the models I listed can be purchased with most of the options for under 1500.00 US. I just ordered mine zx5000 for 1161 before 100.00 mail in rebate and the specs on that are listed here:

good luck and be sure to let us know if you have any other questions.

If you can get one of the above mentioned HP's in you price range good luck. From my experiance (v.limited) most of those tend to be around the $3K mark but you may get lucky!
