For V2000Z, costco is $22 more expensive than HPshopping.com for the same configuration. However, costco has 6 month return policy, while HP i think only one month.
Anybody knows sth that I dont know to help me decide at which one I should order.
Thanks

Well you got taxes if you get it from costco. Not so at hpshopping, unless you live in one of the states where they do collect tax. Also you can configure exactly what you want online.

I wonder if the 2% cash rebate from Costco applies when you order a laptop on their website. HP has only 21 days return policy. The configuration options are pretty much the same in both websites.

I got mine at costco...barely a price difference (costco had a better deal than hp site did) and the peace of mind that if I so need to...I can take it back.

Well, my dad bought my notebook for me at Costco and said he wasn't charged any tax.

I bought my HP from COSTCO for $899...biggest selling point was the 6 month return policy...gives you plenty of time to play with the machine and make sure it is really what you want. You can also configure online at COSTCO so you can get exactly what you want.

I highly reccommend costco - you can't beat the 6 month return policy.

Well, actually Sams Club also has the same policy though I don't think you can custom order computers from them online...

I've actually heard Sam's Club might change their policy to three months, although I'm not too sure. But yes - you can't customize your notebook through Sam's - only through Costco.
HP or costco
