    Hi there,

I have purchased HP pavilion DV9667ea

    core 2 duo t7500
    2x160 GB hdd
    nVidia 8600m GS
    17" 1440x900
    2GB ram
    Windows Vista Home Premium

I was trying to instal Win XP so I would have a choice between vista or xp. I never made the recovery discs using recovery creation tool. XP is running, had a hard time finding all the drivers for XP.

However, for the future, I would like to have the option to instal vista back. The recovery partition is still there, and I haven't formated C: drive yet. so the vista instalation is still there. Won't boot and when pressing F11 recovery mode is not coming up...

Is there any chance I could start vista again? Maybe using ordinary Vista instalation disk? Or does it have to be HP Recovery disc.

I was trying to search for recovery kit, which HP usualy offers, not for this model, so far.

    Please help... thanks
