    Hi experts,

I have this model with following specifcation.

    HP pavilion dv2690
    Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz T7700 4MB 800Mhz
    2 GB DDR2 RAM
    250 GB Hard Drive,SATA
    DVD Writer Dual Format(+/-R+/-RW)
NVIDIA GEForce Go 8400 PCI EXP
    Widescreen 14".1 WXGA Bright View
    Integrated 1.3Mp webcam
    Integrated Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Digital Media Reader (5 in 1)
    Finger Print device
HP quick Play media player software
    and HP Mobile Remote Control
    Vista Home Premium
    One Year Warrenty

    Price:us$1500

Now it look a good price for the specification, but i havent seen any review about this model on internet.
It will be very helpful if you guys can give some feedback about the model.
shall i go with it or i have another option with xps m1330 with lower spec (2.2Ghz).

    Appreciate your reply
    thanks in advance.

i used to own that one - fantastic computer, never had a problem. thought i didnt like the mouse at first, but then it felt just fine.

and with specs, u def won't be dissapointed. the only few things the m1330 obviously beat it on is, the lightness, led screen and the extra 64mb for video

which by the way, the 64mb 8400m gs in the dv2500t handeled games just fine for me, halo 2 was smooth, etc. (not to mention the m1330 by far cost more)

Is it compatible with windows xp?
How is the build quality? I will be using mostly for my office work and watching movies.
