    HI

The fingerprint reader on my hp pavilion windows vista premium is not working. i checked the drivers and it says it is working properly. but i swipe my finger and the notebook does not acknowledge i have done anything. not even an error message. nothing at all.

    what could be wrong?

and what do i need to do to fix it?

    Thanks So Much!!!!

I don't have a fingerprint reader on my dv6500t, but did you make sure that you correctly configured the fingerprint reader? If you did and the problems continue, you can try an updated fingerprint reader driver to see if that helps. See my driver thread (in sig) if you're interested.
