im thinking of buying the new pav 15 with 8750h and 1060 3gb, so i started digging information about it and i found that the laptop has the same cooling as the omen 15 (witch runs extremely hot) but with smaller wholes for breading, but there's not a single t° review, so my request is can someone with the 2018 do terminal review with and without undervolting the cpu and also i know that the omen had bios update that dropped the t° by about 10C°, does the pavilion has any bios updates?

Planning to buy this laptop too, if you get any update, let me know.

I want to buy it for my lil bro since it's the only laptop that looks green cool, we do have razer..but..cant afford it.

Try to turn off turboboost by setting your maximum processor state down to 99% and Undervolt your CPU with Intel XTU.

If its still overheating then send it back to HP.
