i own a hp compaq nx9010 (2.6g, 256mb ram, 30g hdd). when i bought it (new) battery power was 2hours. less than a week it dropped to 1hour, so i calibrated it,but calibration brought the power to 30mins (on the power meter, but it lasts for 15-25mins.
is there a way to undo the calibration. because its as good as a desktop (always on mains). or do i just need a new battery.

There's no way to undo a calibration, other than re-running the calibration. If the unit is still within 1 year from date of purchase, it's possible you may be able to get a replacement battery under warranty. Call HP and see if they'll send out a free replacement. Just tell them the battery is no longer holding a charge.
