Is it worth getting an hp dv series laptop with an amd processor as opposed to one with an intel processor.

How well do AMD processors perform while gaming.

Also if anyone knows how AMD processors are numbered pls share e.g I know for intel the progression is i3-i5-i7

    A4 < A6 < i3 ~ A8 < i5 < i7 (that was the situaton with the SandyBridge series)

AMD is for multimedia and home users (or even for light gaming). If you want to run the latest games you should buy something with intel.
