I was troubleshooting phone active sync on HP 8710p with Windows XP (lattest BIOS) and I uninstalled HP wireless assistant. That didn't solve the sync problem (earlier version of Active Sync did), but from then on the on screen display doesn't work anymore.

I tried reinstalling HP Quicklaunch Buttons, HP Wireless Assistant, critical update for Quicklaunch Buttons but nor the HP keys above keyboard nor the on-screen display doesn't work.

    Any ideas?
