Hello. I just saw this rebate promotion on HP's website. This is for Canadians and not for US.
Here's the link: http://h30014.www3.hp.com/offers/ca/en/pdf_printable_coupon/1179_pc-printer-bundle_ca-eng.pdf
Basically, it's saying that I can get $50 or more off when I buy a PC/notebook with an HP printer/All in Ones. The BestBuy here in Canada is currently offering a free HP PSC 1510 after rebates. So I guess I can get that $50 off when I buy an HP notebook.
My basic question is does HP have good rebate process? What I mean is that do they actually go through and send me the rebates? I've had bad experiences with mail-in rebates. Not with HP, but with other brands. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I got mine back from HP when I bought a V2000z, so no complaints from here.

I got my rebate back without any problems and in time as it is mentioned in status.

I had an issue with my rebate and had to resubmit model/serial numbers. I submitted early December, hadn't heard since. When should I call them?

I got mine in 5 weeks after submission. I did pre-submission online though. I also made a mistake in cutting only the UPC and serial number of the laptop instead of the whole sticker as indicated somewhere. Anyway, mine was validated without any problem. I guess the pre-submission on-line really accelerate the process and the tracking number is issued before I sent in the papers by mail. If it is over 8 weeks, you should probably give them a call. Did you receive a tracking number or a confirmation e-mail? I got the confirmation e-mail 3 weeks after submission.
HP rebates. Any Good?
