long story short i called today to get a price adjustment on the dv8000t i ordered and was told oh we cant do that we discontinued that model...
only reason i didnt call in right away was that i wanted time to test drive it (shouldve just done it) so given that with all the price drops going on the 9000 is now down to roughly what i paid for the 8000t. So im thinking ill return it and order that instead.
Question is if i am within my 21 day return window how good is HP at processing the return? Was it easy to do, and how fast did the money get credited to your acct?

I just returned my dv6000t and it was a pretty simple process. They setted up a time for fedex to come and pick it up to take it to memphis. I'm still waiting for the money to be credit back since its only been two days but, the process seems painless so far.

They are excellent at returns. When you call they will give you a # to write on the box. The next day Fed EX picks it up from you. As soon as they receive you pc back they credit your account or issue you a check.
