HP shipping---clearance delay

Well it looks my computer is stuck in Alaska. It was supposed to come tomorrow but I seriously doubt that. Has anyone else that recently ordered an hp computer had this problem. First off it seemed like it was stuck in China forever. Here is my tracking stuff.



Anyone else experience this? Maybe I should have just payed for shipping. I was kinda hoping to have it this weekend.

 

same, but someone called and was told that the page just hasn't updated and their laptop should arrive on schedule. I hope they are right, cause i will be out of town all next week and will be extremely pissed if i don't get my laptop beforehand.

most people were automatically upgraded to expediated shipping. I had purchased shipping but I got a refund when it was delayed and I have the same delivery date as you.

 

So I still have a chance of receiving it tomorrow then? yay that makes me happy. Im going to order a droid x tonight hopefully at midnight so i'm going to have two new toys. I don't know what i'm going to do with myself.

 

I think all of the smart money is on it arriving friday, but I hope it arrives tomorrow.

 

My dv6tse took ~3.5 to get in and out of AK. If everything goes smoothly with customs, I guess it just depends on when the next flight out is to your nearest distribution center.

 

Dude, check out mine. We are in exactly same situation!! I hope we can get our package on time, no all of us can receive it on time. BTW, I hate us customs!

 

It's pissing me off. But on the bright side I ordered my droid X and it should most def be here tomorrow so I'm not that worried now.

 

Just called FedEx. HP still hasn't given them the right paperwork for customs. They said that once HP provides the correct documentation, the package will ship and be delivered within 24 hours.

 

I called both of them, FedEx said they have already contacted HP. HP rep said it is already in process. So i guess only thing I can do is wait!!!

 

So far 2 days in Anchorage. This is truly annoying.

 

This sucks. Took the day off to be here and sign for it. What a waste

 

as long as its in by saturday noon....

 

they dun do things on saturday or sunday unless it's next day shipping

 

Wow.. I'm in the same boat with my dm4t order (est delivery was today at 4:30). I ordered on the 10th. Now that 4:30 has passed, there isn't even an estimated delivery time anymore. What should I do?

 

They can not estimate, because they don't have a for sure date/time that Customs will release the shipment. Once Customs gets what they need, Fedex "should" update the delivery date/time. Currently, no one know when we will get our machines. The hope is just soon.

My estimated delivery date never changed.

It says it's in transit, but still in alaska.

Package available for clearance is the little note on the side.

 

Dang.... Didn't come today. Still has a clearance delay. If I were to call and complain could I get anything.

 

Just spoke with Fedex again. Word is, another round of packages have cleared customs at 355 pm today in Alaska and are scheduled to be back on transit. The rep said that they are not sure if flights leave alaska after 3pm or not though, so it may be tomorrow that it arrives, or worse case, Saturday. Just a heads up for anyone still in the dark, or not having updates.

 

Will it come saturday? Even though we don't have overnight shipping? Or are we automatically upgraded because of the delay?

Rep said it would be Saturday, if not tomorrow depending on whether or not it made the plane today.

Edit: refreshed again, and now it says it has departed Anchorage station.

 

I just called basically theres nothing I can do.. and my status hasnt been updated since the 13th of July. They say that the issue has been resolved though. Thank God my droid x is in the US and WILL be here tomorrow.

 

Mine is still clearance delay! sucks! I wish i can get it in this week!

I just called fedex and they said that HP requested to hold the package.

Now i just called HP back and they said it was a lie and that they sent all the required paper work maybe i'll call fed ex back but im getting pretty fed up by this.

I ordered later than some of you and mine shipped out of alaska after a day or so. Strange!

I just thought of something. Does this mean my computer package was opened and searched through? If so I am going to be beyond pissed.
