    Hi guys,

Im running a HP envy 14 and ive been having some trouble with the graphics switching when i unplug it, it keeps crashing and the screen dies, only being fixed when i remove the battery.

Anyway, i fired up HP support assistant to obtain the model number to download any updates and it wont load any of my laptops information. Ive downloaded the latest support assistant but it wont display computer name, serial number, model number, bios information etc etc.

How can i fix this? Also, has anyone experienced the crashing when switching graphics before?
