This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I used HP's online chat to RMA my laptop today. The start page said a transcript of the chat would be emailed to me but I haven't received anything yet (12 hours later).

    Has anyone received a transcript when using chat?

    I used it twice recently (yesterday and 2 days ago) and never received anything. I copied the text right before the lady ended it though just to make sure I had all the info. Which is good because after she closed the session, everything went bye-bye.

    OK, thanks--I guess I won't be getting one then. The window quickly closed on me too right when I was about to copy the text at the end of the chat...

    Same here. that email of the logs does not work amd I believe I've used the live chat 3 times. I suggest you call the RMA department.

    I just went on chat again with the return dept. and a rep said she would email me a copy manually.

    edit: received it after about 15 min.
