I used HP's online chat to RMA my laptop today. The start page said a transcript of the chat would be emailed to me but I haven't received anything yet (12 hours later).
Has anyone received a transcript when using chat?

I used it twice recently (yesterday and 2 days ago) and never received anything. I copied the text right before the lady ended it though just to make sure I had all the info. Which is good because after she closed the session, everything went bye-bye.

OK, thanks--I guess I won't be getting one then. The window quickly closed on me too right when I was about to copy the text at the end of the chat...

Same here. that email of the logs does not work amd I believe I've used the live chat 3 times. I suggest you call the RMA department.

I just went on chat again with the return dept. and a rep said she would email me a copy manually.
edit: received it after about 15 min.
