This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Ok, so ive decided in getting a hp dv9000t lappy for college studies. I am going to buy it in the US, i live in costa rica, but im going to move to germany for college. so i was wondering weather hp will still cover me even though i would be in europe. Could some one suggest a solution or solve the pickle im in?

    they won't cover it. warranty bought in the u.s. will only work in the u.s. unfortunately. you might want to give them a call and see if they could offer you some sort of international warranty.
