i have the HP touchsmart tx2.. when i press the volume up and down button on the top of the keyboard i receive no volume notification onscreen... i thought at some time i did see an onscreen bar that went up and down showing u the volume control... i went to msconfig and made sure everything was activated on startup but it still does not work...

i have hp quick launch buttons enabled.. when i press the up and down buttons.. they work.. the volume does go up and down...

does anyone see the onscreen notification when raising and lowering the volume?
