    Greetings everyone,

I bought my Compaq Mini700 one year ago with the mobile broadband option and it was working fine, but now the signal strength is zero and when I press connect on HP Connection Manager , it does connect and stay connected on HSPA for few seconds then switch to dormant , then connect to 3G/UTMS, then become dormant, then switch to EDGE and dormant again. which renders my device useless. I contacted HP support but and they let me restore the system to its factory settings, but the issue still there.

Have you guys experienced such thing or am the only one on this planet ?

my connection manager log looks like this :

    3/21/2010 10:59:41 AM,WWAN device detected.

    Thanx

Update: just few mints ago, I replaced the WWLAN module with another one which was working on a similar netbook. and the problem is still there, so I am now 100% sure the problem is not from the module itself.
