I registered for vista express upgrade online.
    I recvd a mail saying:
If you have not already done so, please send in your Proof of Purchase (POP) to our fulfillment center for the qualifying PC.
My order status is :Coa Validated. Waiting for Proof of Purchase

    What is the POP?

Send them a copy of the receipt you got from who you bought it from.
    Thanks.

PoP means Proof of Purchase. You have to send in the proof of purchase in order for ModusLink (the company handling the Express upgrades) to verify your purchase. The best thing to send if you bought the laptop online would be to send in the email you received from HP (or wherever you bought it) and copy that and send it to the address listed. You also have the option of scanning it and emailing to them or faxing it to them. I scanned mine and received an email that same day saying it was verified. I have heard of others whose submission did not go as smoothly. Anyway, this is required or you will not get your upgrade. The sooner you do this the sooner you will get your upgrade.

if you purchased your laptop directly from hp.com, you can login your order history and then print the online receipt, which is the acceptable POP.
