Well since my new dv7t wasn't compatible with my old xb3000 docking station, I needed to get the new model. The only negative...While it is annoying that it doesn't come with a power plug, it did accept the old plug from the xb3000. So that wasn't a complaint for me.

The main thing that just shocked the hell out of me was when I opened up iTunes and clicked on the a song (Aerosmith Crazy) my sound was up all the way and it scared me to death LoL. The sound quality has gotten so much better between the two models. Perhaps I should have clicked on "Amazing" LoL

    Nice job HP!

Is the xb3000 also incompatable with dv4? I see one selling on craigslist and I have been on the phone all day trying to get someone sensible at HP to give me an answer as to if they the xb3000 works on my computer. Finally, someone told me yes, but she didnt seem extremely knowledgeable.
