First let me welcome you to the world of gigantic laptops. I know you will enjoy it (I have). I got my laptop two weeks before it was suppose to even ship. Apparently most people get theirs earlier. If you got a customized model it is actually shipped from China. Since you have invested in the model you should also check out http://zd7000forums.com/
Keep us all up to date on how your laptop works out..

Thanks for the info..I guess. I went to that site and it seems like everyone is having some kind of problem with the ZD7000. Now I am wondering if I made the right decision. Is there really that many problems. I didn't get the extended warranty. I put my money into the computer. I was excited about getting it until I read all those bad post. Wondering what I am in for!!!

    Thanks

Don't worry Kroman. Most of those problems are isolated. If you look at it the people who are complaining with problems is not that large compared to the number of members on that site. Also remember that people are more compelled to post a message on message boards if they have problems or questions, and not so likely to post if they are completly satisfied. Also remeber that HP has a 30 deay return policy so if anything is wrong when you get it you can request a replacement or your money back. ALso I belive all laptops are covered under a 1 year parts and labor warrenty. Like any laptop make sure put it to the test within that 30 day period to make sure everything is ok. HP has a good quality record and the zd7000 has gotten good quality reviews all over the internet.

If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to ask.
